Axvia

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Axvia helps people who have moved to a new country meet others nearby for small, soon plans. This policy says what we hold, why, and what you can do about it. It describes the app as it actually works — not as a category.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address and a password, so you can sign back in. The password is stored only as a hash; nobody at Axvia can read it.

Your profile. Your display name, your city, the languages you speak and the interests you pick. Optionally, where you are from and a short line about yourself. All of this is visible to other signed-in people, because it is what tells someone who they are about to meet.

Your approximate location, if you allow it. Used to work out which plans are near you. Two things about it:

If you decline, the app asks you to pick a city instead and works from that.

What you write and do. The plans you create or join, the messages you send inside a plan room, the places you mark as wanting to visit, and the reports or blocks you file.

We do not collect contacts, photos from your library, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or anything for advertising purposes. There are no third-party trackers or analytics SDKs in the app.

Who can see what

Where it is stored

On infrastructure operated by Supabase, in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Supabase processes this data on our behalf and under contract; they do not use it for their own purposes.

Email is delivered through our email provider for the sole purpose of sending account messages such as confirming your address or resetting your password.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Delete your account and we remove your profile, your messages, your plan memberships and your reports; plans you were hosting are cancelled. Deletion is available in the app under Profile → Delete account and takes effect immediately. It cannot be undone.

Aggregate counts that cannot identify you — such as how many people are on a plan — may remain.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export, restrict or erase your data, and to object to processing. You can do most of this in the app directly: your profile is editable, and account deletion is one screen away. For anything else, write to hello@axvia.app and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Our legal basis is the contract between us for the parts needed to run the app, your consent for location, and our legitimate interest in keeping people safe for the reporting and blocking system.

Children

Axvia is not for people under 16. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger. If you believe we do, write to hello@axvia.app and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
